Madison Allcorn
Madison Allcorn is an undergraduate student at New Mexico Highlands University studying Environmental Geology with a concentration in Environmental Science. She joined New Mexico
Highlands University as a transfer student in 2022 and became an integral part of the paleomagnetism lab, working on samples collected at Świerki Quarry by the IRES 2022 team. Madison is looking at magma emplacement characteristics and paleomagnetic analysis of
Świerki, a 300-million-year-old volcanic intrusion located in Poland. Since then, she has presented her research at many conferences including, The Institute of Rock Magnetism, New Mexico Geological Society Spring Conference, American Geophysical Union and most recently at the Volcandpark 2024 conference.
